The Big 5:
Fleabag / Amazon Prime
True Detective Season 1 / HBO
Barry / HBO
The Haunting of Hill House / Netflix
Chernobyl / HBO
I’m in the mood to GASP
True Detective Seasons 1 and 3 (NOT SEASON 2)
2 smexy police officers solve a really perverted crime in the American South.
Season 1 is fantastic, Season 3 is very good, Season 2 shall not be spoken of.
Peaky Blinders / Netflix
A mob family called the Peaky Blinders punch people and sport sexy haircuts while drinking an insane amount of whisky in 1920s Birmingham, England.
I have to watch it with subtitles because their cockney accents are so thick, but it has amazing directing and Cilian Murphy is life.
Killing Eve / Amazon Prime
That intense chick from Greys Anatomy hunts a smexy female assassin and they develop a complicated relationship with eachother (will they kiss??)
I can only speak to season 1, but its great. Phoebe Waller Bridge (Fleabag) is the showrunner (does not act in it though)
The Haunting of Hill House / Netflix
A spooky and better written version of “This is Us” that you will want to watch again and look for things you missed the first time.
It’s not just a spooky show. Its extremely emotional with great character development. High rewatch value.
Chernobyl / HBO
A russian nuclear power plant malfunctions and nearly wipes out the world - except Russia does something right for once and stops it
This is the highest rated television show of the decade. Limited series so its just one season, but damn.
The Boys / Amazon Prime
A world where superheroes are real in America and America acts just like America would: we monetize and weaponize them. But they are smexy.
Violent, edgy, just SO GOOD. Based on a great graphic novel.
Big Little Lies / HBO
Every good actress in Hollywood comes together to play a group of Northern Californian moms who lie to each other and someone dies.
Just watch it. Merl Streep in Season 2 is unreal (as always)
The Jinx / HBO
This weird old rich white dude did some crazy stuff and probably murdered some women and a documentary crew convinced him to talk with them.
Documentary series. The last moment of the last episode made me so legit scared I had to call my mom.
The Staircase / Netflix
This probably sociopathic (or not?!) dude’s wife was found dead at the bottom of their staircase and a documentary crew follows the trial and him for like 20 years.
Documentary series. Watch it.
The Night of / HBO
This girl is found dead and her can driver is arrested and everything looks really bad for him but then we slowly learn about what really happened that night
Limited series (1 season). Very good mystery.
His Dark Materials / HBO
IN A WORLD where your soul takes an animal form, the church and science battle it out about wtf “magic dust” is and if there are other worlds/realities.
The Golden Compass but a tv series. British produced so its actually good. Does the book proud and has fantastic acting. Excited for season 2.
Black Mirror / Netflix
A grown up Twilight Zone that will probably trigger your anxiety
*These episodes specifically: San Junipero, Hated in the Nation, USS Callister, White Bear, White Christmas, Men Against Fire (eh). Metalhead, Smithereens, Striking Vipers

Fincher at his finest
The Handmaid’s Tale - Hulu
World War 3 happens because fertility rates fall and New England sections itself off and becomes a modern amish utopia but women are extremely oppressed. (idk how to make that funny…)
Season 1
Stranger Things / Netflix
If Spielberg made a TV show about 80s kids and monsters
Season 1. Season 2 and 3 are trash - fight me.
Dollhouse / Hulu
People can rent out real humans that can be programed to personify anyone they want.
OG Joss Wheaton. Great show.
Unorthodox / Netflix
Partially true story of an Orthodox Brooklyn Jewish woman who flees her community where the men wear crazy hats and the women shave their heads.
Yo this is a hidden gem.
OZARK / Netflix
Jason Bateman was money laundering for the mexican mafia and fucks up so he moves his family/operation to the Ozarks and hopefully fix everything.
Jason Batemen does a fantastic job, this is his baby. Everything is blue which is kind of annoying though but whatever.
Unbelievable / Hulu
Toni Collette and Schmitt’s college girlfriend play two cops who team up to get justice for a teenage girl who was raped and coerced by male police officers into saying she made it all up.
Limited series. Very good. True story!
Russian Doll / Netflix
Groundhog Day but with the loud chick from Orange is the New Black and everytime she DIES her birthday starts over.
I was hesitant at first because the groundhog day situation has been done so many times but damn this actress is compelling to watch and its fresh. But it is repetitive.
I’m in the mood to LAUGH
Fleabag / Amazon Prime
A dark comedy about a woman dealing with loss through humor. Her family is wacko and she talks to the audience a lot, breaking the 4th wall. Hilarity ensues.
Witty dark comedy from writer/star Phoebe Waller Bridge, what insecure wishes it was. Season 1 is fantastic, Season 2 is the best season of television ever made. Fight me.
Catastrophe / Amazon Prime
An american man gets a british (irish?) woman pregnant and moves to the UK to try to do the family thing with her.
Another british comedy
Barry / HBO
Bill Hader is an assassin who decides to try to stop killing people and become an actor in LA. Classic tale.
Give it a chance - after 2 episodes you’ll be hooked. Brilliant directing, particularly in season 2. Made me gain MAD respect for Bill Hader and his directing.
Pen15 / Hulu
Middle school. It’s middle school. OMG ITS MIDDLE SCHOOL IN THE 90s.
Omg this is fucking brilliant. I cried laughing.
Rick and Morty / Hulu (its on Hulu now)
An alcoholic genius inventor goes on wacky adventures with his grandkids brah.
Hilarious adult cartoon
The Great / Hulu
The story of how Catherine the Great of Russia seized power from her wackadoodle husband. Lots of hats and F bombs. HUZZAH!
New show, very very funny period piece. AMAZING writing. Same writer as The Favorite (won many oscars a few years ago)
Divorce / HBO
A couple gets divorced. hahaahahhahaahahahahahahahha
I actually laugh out loud a lot while watching this. And Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t super annoying in it - I usually can’t stand her but I like her in this. OMG do I like her now?
Succession / HBO
It’s pretty much if the Trump family was a TV show.
It took me like 4 episodes to finally understand the tone, but once I did I was HOOKED. Its like if Arrested Development was serious (but its still a comedy...its a comedy!!!)
Bojack Horseman / Netflix
A horse who was a famous actor in the 90s tries to get his life together while living in LA. It’s a cartoon. But its very deep.
This gets super real
Better Things / FX
A single mom in showbiz raises her three daughters in LA
Funny short episodes.
Summer Heights High / HBO
One comedian plays 4 characters in a typical New Zealand Highschool.
Fucking brilliant.
I’m in the mood to WTF is happening (AKA, hit or miss…)
The Leftovers / HBO
One day 2% of the population just VANISHES. The world reels in the aftermath - wtf happened?
It’s a bit weird. I watched 2 seasons - but its got amazing symbolism and mystery.
Sharp Objects / HBO
Girls in the deep south turn up missing so Amy Adams returns to her hometown as a smexy reporter to figure it out.
First 2 episodes and last 2 episodes are great. The Middle is ehhhh
Homecoming / Amazon Prime
Julia Roberts is hired to run a government program meant to rehabilitate soldiers with PTSD - but something strange is going on, and its not how big her mouth is.
I don’t know if this is good because its good or if its because they just blatantly ripped off Hitchcock’s style to a T. I watched the whole season 1 though and will probably watch season 2.
Westworld / HBO
A Western style theme park that is super realistic and the robots start getting fed up.
WTF is going on - then you get to the end of season 1 and you are like: “ohhhhh, now it makes sense”, but the journey there is hella confusing.
Insecure / HBO
Issa Rae talks to herself in the mirror alot and tries to get her life together in LA.
Moved this from the Laugh list because Fleabag does it better.
The End of the Fucking World / Netflix
Two british teenagers run away and I think kill someone maybe
Season 1 is great, Season 2 is annoying.
DARK / Netflix
Kids many years apart vanish in the exact same way in the woods. What happened? I don’t know I haven’t figured it out yet.
This is in german (I think?). I got tired of the subtitles and stopped after season 1 but its really good and I should go back to it.
The Witcher / Netflix
Superman plays a very sexy monster hunter who doesn’t talk a lot but is sexy and kills monsters and is sexy.
Is it GOT? No. But I mean - I loved it. And Henry is the perfect Gerault.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina / Netflix
Sabrina the teenage witch smashes into Riverdale.
Season 1 was fun. Season 2 starts getting wacky. Didn’t stick around.
Euphoria / HBO
A long music video narrated by edgy teens.
Just style.

Season 1 is good. Season 2 gets a bit wacky. The whole thing is a bit wacky actually. But its good.
Penny Dreadful / Netflix
If Frankenstein and all those scary stories were real but in old industrial London.
I liked Season 1. Gets a little repetitive after that.
The Outsider
Some creepy monster kills kids and frames it on humans by taking their form.
What the fuck happened. Dropped the ball. Great acting though and great beginning.
Legion / FX
Superheroes in a mental institution? I think. I still don’t know.
People swear by this show and I kinda like it but it gets really crazy and I just want him to utilize his damn powers. Apparently season 2 gets artsy - I havent made it there yet.
Watchmen / HBO
I only watched the pilot: Its in the Watchmen Universe - idk google it.
To be honest I hated this, I thought it had very little directorial vision - but people swear by it so I’ll add it….
I’m in the mood to BINGE (5+ Seasons)
True Blood / HBO
Smexy smart Twilight in the deep south.
Fucking fantastic. Dark, sexy, and adult.
VEEP / HBO
If the office took place in the oval office and they swore.
Hilarious. I don’t know who is my favorite character. I love/hate them all. Lots of seasons to binge - short episodes.
GIRLS / HBO
4 soon-to-be “Karens” in NYC
Rewatching this in your 20s as a female is hilarious. I don’t care if you don’t like what’s her name - Lena - its a good show.
Shameless / Netflix
A white trash Chicago family does ridiculous shit to get by
Funny and dramatic. The best representation of mental illness I’ve ever seen (Ian character).
Avatar the Last Airbender / Netflix
Kids use their powers to manipulate the elements and stop the fire nation from taking over the world
I know it’s a kids show - just watch it. Amazing character development
LOVE / Netflix

Vikings / Hulu
Yum.
Yum.
Breaking Bad / Netflix
Bryan Cranston shows us his amazing acting ability as he cooks meth without his family knowing and slowly becomes a super villain.
It’s really good and really long.

He’s a good serial killer...kinda.
